Breakfast Club at Merton Bank
Increase your child’s success beyond the school day!
Our Extended Services include Breakfast Club. Breakfast club is open to all children from Reception to Year 6 attending Merton Bank Primary School.
The club operates on school premises in a safe environment, led by our incredibly friendly and welcoming breakfast club leaders Mrs Malone, Ms Cookson and Mrs Cronin who ensure the children are provided with a happy start to their day.

What time does Breakfast Club start?
Breakfast club starts at 8:15am and finishes at 8:45am, when they will be taken to class ready to start their day.
Breakfast is served at 8.15am. Children must arrive before 8.25am if they wish to attend Breakfast Club.
How do I drop my child off at Breakfast Club?
Your child must be dropped off at the Main Entrance and must be handed over to a member of staff.
What breakfast is provided at Breakfast Club?
Your child will get the choice of a healthy nutritious breakfast to fuel them for the day ahead. There is a variety of cereals to choose from as well as the option of bagels/toast. Juice and water is also available.
What can my child do whilst at Breakfast Club?
There are a range of activities on offer, from drawing, puzzles/games, reading, colouring and Just Dance. Breakfast Club is a great for your child to develop their creativity, social skills and confidence.
Magic Breakfast
We are excited to announce that Merton Bank have teamed up with ‘Magic Breakfast’ for the ‘National School Breakfast Programme’ initiative. It is our aim to provide every child at Merton Bank with a healthy, satisfying breakfast before the school day begins. All children will be offered a bagel as they enter school, five days a week, absolutely free! These bagels will replace our former toast provision at break-time and we feel that enjoying breakfast before school starts will ensure that all children are ready to learn as soon as they enter their classrooms. This scheme will be running in addition to our wonderful breakfast club.
